Hotel
Left in the hotel room: staff reaching you with no app
You rush out and the charger stays behind the nightstand. Reception does not need your phone on a sticky note: the code opens a direct path to whoever cleans the room.
What stays in the room
Chargers, jewellery, toiletry bags, and purses. Hotel procedure stores them, but naming the owner takes days with no contact. A code on the pouch or sleeve pulls that step forward.
Staff will not install apps
Cleaners will not download anything to tell you. They open the QR with the camera and write from the browser, no account. With no signal there is no message: that is why the visible notice matters as much as the form.
Shipping arranged over the private page
With a private page your phone does not travel on the pouch: notice and form. You read in your account and share the shipping instruction at once. The general rule is in what to show and what to hide. For the trip bag, the suitcase at the airport case asks for a different spot.
How to do it
Tag pouch and sleeves
A visible QR on a flat patch. On Pro, the short code beside it for typing.
A private page
No visible phone. The finder writes and you read in your account.
Reply with the instruction
A shipping address or a pickup point, chosen by you.
Pause when back
When the trip closes, pause what no longer travels with you.
Common questions
- Does reception see my phone?
- No, on a private page. They see the notice and the form; your contact is not on the label.
- What if the hotel sent it to lost property?
- The page still counts: whoever opens it reads your updated notice.
- Does it work in hotels abroad?
- The link opens the same. Write the notice in a language staff reads, or in two lines.
When you know what the page should say, create it and download the QR.
